Jennifer Salazar is a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified trauma therapist with over 20 years of experience. She sees children as young as 8, teens and adults. She has an eclectic, strength-based approach utilizing diverse theoretical approaches, including holistic and behavioral neuroscience, to address the root cause of behavioral trauma patterns. Jennifer partners with her clients offering an integrative, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Understanding everyone's journey is unique, she strives to cultivate an individualized, safe, and authentic healing experience.
Jennifer has received training in Brainspotting (BSP), the Neurosequential Model, Cognitive Behavioral, Sand Tray therapy, Nurturing Parenting, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems. She’s a third-generation practitioner of traditional and holistic healing interventions, with 23 years of experience. When treating OCD, she utilizes the gold standard ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) approaches.
Her special interests include: working with adolescents, families, young adults, and women, as well as treating the root causes of depression, anxiety, fear, feeling “stuck,” self-esteem, trauma, and disruptive patterns of behavior.

Jenna is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in CBT, DBT, Reality Therapy, and Solution-Focused modalities. She specializes in working with teens and young adults. Jenna strives to create an atmosphere in her sessions that allow clients to identify and achieve their most authentic self. Through her techniques, Jenna is able to assist clients in learning and overcoming various mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, personality disorders, substance abuse and anger management. Through her eclectic personality, she is able to create an environment where all feel welcomed, heard, and understood.
Jenna has an extensive history working with teens and young adults, beginning during her days working in community mental health, behavioral health hospitals, high school counseling, and as an adolescent substance abuse counselor. She is experienced in co-occurring disorders and has a wealth of knowledge in these areas.
When working with teens and young adults, Jenna helps clients explore their distortions that hinder them from achieving their goals. She will work collaboratively with clients to develop new strategies to manage life's constant barrage of stressors and develop strong interpersonal skills to combat negative situations, thoughts, and core beliefs. Clients will explore the many facets of their lives while also learning real-world skills such as assertive communication, boundaries, self-care, and stress-management. Jenna recognizes that every person has a different story, and she is there to help her clients write the next chapter. She lives by the quote, "Your only limit is you."

Lisa Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in CBT, DBT, and EMDR. She sees children as young as 6. She utilizes an individualized and holistic approach integrating various evidence-based therapies to treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
When working with teens, Lisa integrates Cognitive Strategies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Strategies, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapies to help them learn to more effectively manage the symptoms they are experiencing. Lisa applies trauma-informed care to offer specialty sessions in EMDR. Here, she integrates techniques from dialectical behavior therapy with EMDR to reshape the internal narrative of trauma, and re-establish a sense of control.
Lisa believes in meeting each client where they are at, and helping them to heal, to grow, and to flourish.

Jessica Cronk is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC-T) with expertise in working with children, teens, and adults. She provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, and family stressors. Her approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment where clients of all ages can develop resilience, coping strategies, and self-confidence. Therapy is tailored to each client’s unique needs to foster meaningful, lasting change.
Jessica previously worked extensively with children and families experiencing a variety of stressors and traumatic events. Her work was strength-based and family-centered, emphasizing psychoeducation for caregivers and support networks to promote understanding of trauma and its impact on behavior. She collaborated closely with families and community stakeholders to create comprehensive recommendations that supported a child’s development, promoted resilience, and fostered a healing environment. Jessica was skilled at facilitating clinical meetings, guiding team consensus, and providing actionable strategies for caregivers to implement in daily life.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, play therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, with personalized treatment plans to address emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. With a background in trauma-informed care, Jessica also draws from training and seminars in ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and family-centered interventions. Jessica emphasizes collaboration with caregivers and support systems when working with children, ensuring a holistic, environment-focused approach that strengthens emotional growth.
Jessica brings a thoughtful, non-judgmental approach to therapy, helping clients of all ages navigate difficult emotions, behavioral patterns, and life transitions. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and empowering her clients to recognize their strengths and achieve their goals.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their dog.

What types of therapy do you offer?
At BrainBody Wellness, our licensed therapists use evidence-based, integrative approaches designed to help teens, adults, and families heal, grow, and thrive. Each treatment plan is tailored to the client’s unique goals and needs.
Our therapy specialties include:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helps clients recognize how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect, and develop practical tools for change.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Depending on the provider, we accept the following insurance plans:
• Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
• Aetna
• UnitedHealthcare (UHC)
If you’re unsure whether your provider is in-network, we can verify your benefits before your first session. Many clients also pay privately and submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
What are your session rates?
If you are using insurance, the cost per session will depend on your plan. Typically, copays range from $0 to $50 per session.
If you are not using insurance, our rates are based on therapist licensure and experience:
• Licensed Associate Counselors (LACs): $150 for the intake session, $135 for follow-up sessions
• Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs): $195 for the intake session, $175 for follow-up sessions
Sessions are typically 50–55 minutes and include individualized care, treatment planning, and progress review.
